Handmade Quality
These days, “handmade” products are often made using tools such as laser cutters and 3D printers. While the assembly of these products certainly requires a human touch, here at Cheese ‘n Tomatoes, we prefer to be hands on as much as possible. Our woodcrafts are cut using a saw and our hands, our books are sown and bound with care, and our art is made in house.
Our story
Why are we called Cheese ‘n Tomatoes? Growing up I would often introduce myself as a man who loves cheese. This has stayed with me throughout my life. When I met my wife, she would react to my messages with a tomato emoji instead of a heart for fun. Eventually as our relationship developed, my wife mentioned that Cheese and Tomatoes go well together, and she couldn’t have been closer to the truth. Cheese and Tomatoes do go well together in many dishes, including pasta and pizza. But what’s truer is that we go well together. We are happy to run this company together and make crafts to share with the world!
Our approach
We strive for quality in all our products, and we do this by making each piece by hand. Our goal is to share our love for creation with others. We find excitement as we deepen our skills and create new products. In all of it, though, you can be sure that we’ve examined and hand crafted each item for your satisfaction (except for prints of our work).
